Cheap Rental Carpet Gold Coast – Our new cheap rental carpet ranges and colors – only at Floorwerx.
We always recommend choosing a commercial rated carpet for rental properties or holiday letting. Whilst it may seem logical to choose a domestic rated option for a residential rental property, a commercial carpet is the better option for these situations. Rental properties tend to be at a higher risk of damage due to careless tenants and guests and therefore require a more heavy duty option for their flooring.
Choosing a commercial carpets will provide the extra protection and durability, while still looking and feeling fantastic in the room. With new styles and plush underlays, commercial carpets can feel as comfortable as any domestic option and sometimes look even better. In comparison to a domestic rated option, commercial rated carpets are:
- Easy to clean
- Made to withstand wear and tear
- Coloured to hide stains
- Fire rated
- Made to higher quality standards
- Longer lasting
We recommend 3 carpet options: our OK BETTER BEST package:
Ok Option: The OK option is a base level product. It is a light duty domestic polypropylene carpet that will get the job done, but does not hold up to wear as well and will require replacing sooner, looking good about 2-4 years*.
Better Option: The BETTER option is a light duty commercial rated carpet that will suit rental properties. It’s a strong and sturdy option that will look better for longer than the OK option at 4-6 years*.
Best Option: The BEST option is a ultra durable heavy duty commercial rated product and has been chosen as the best option because of it’s investment quality. It is likely to last and look great for 6 to 10 years* in a rental property and will save replacing down the road.

BETTER Option Carpet – Oxford
BEST Option Carpet – Harvard
* In an average rental property. Does not account for major damage such as flooding, fires or excessive abnormal use. Carpet may last longer than suggested time frame, however, in our experience it will not look good.
